Softcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Presenting the Dover Thrift Edition of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (ISBN: 9780486270678), this book offers a delightful and affordable way to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of one of Shakespeare's most beloved plays. The book is in Good+ condition, with some indications of previous ownership and gentle use, adding to its character and charm.Upon examination, you may notice a neatly marked-out organization stamp on the front flyleaf. Although present, it does not detract from the overall readability or aesthetic appeal of the book. Instead, it serves as a testament to its previous journey and adds a touch of history to its pages. The covers of the book exhibit some light creasing and shelf wear, which is to be expected from a book that has been enjoyed and treasured. These minor imperfections do not compromise the structural integrity of the book and are merely signs of its previous adventures.Inside, there may be a few sparse ink markings in the first few pages. While noticeable, these markings are faint and do not interfere with the legibility or comprehension of the text. They offer a glimpse into the book's previous readers and their engagement with the play.Despite these minor flaws, the text itself remains clean and unmarked, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the captivating story of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The pages are crisp and the text is easily readable, ensuring a satisfying reading experience. This edition is a wonderful choice for both Shakespeare enthusiasts and newcomers to his works. With its Good+ condition and the unique stamp of its previous owner neatly marked out, this book is ready to be enjoyed and appreciated for years to come. Dive into the magical world of fairies, romance, and mischief with this treasured edition of "A Midsummer Night's Dream.".

MMPB Oversized 4.25"x7.5". Condition: Very Good-Collectible. Jerome Kuhl (illustrator). 1st Edition Thus. Francis Ferguson, General Editor. Editor by Charles Jasper Sisson. Commentary by Lincoln Kirstein. Edges painted grass green. Spine straight, binding tight, pages clean w/soft tone. Not x-library, unclipped, notations on ffep and inside back cover. 4th printing. Secure ship w/track #. Shakespeare's intertwined love polygons begin to get complicated from the start--Demetrius and Lysander both want Hermia but she only has eyes for Lysander. Bad news is, Hermia's father wants Demetrius for a son-in-law. On the outside is Helena, whose unreturned love burns hot for Demetrius. Hermia and Lysander plan to flee from the city under cover of darkness but are pursued by an enraged Demetrius (who is himself pursued by an enraptured Helena). In the forest, unbeknownst to the mortals, Oberon and Titania (King and Queen of the faeries) are having a spat over a servant boy. The plot twists up when Oberon's head mischief-maker, Puck, runs loose with a flower which causes people to fall in love with the first thing they see upon waking. Throw in a group of labourers preparing a play for the Duke's wedding (one of whom is given a donkey's head and Titania for a lover by Puck) and the complications become fantastically funny.
