Seldes clearly knew the Gish sisters and tipped-in are two gelatin silver snapshot photographs of Lillian Gish in Austria, one Signed "Lillian" on the verso in Gish's hand (viewable with care). He was an American film director and television producer, director of the Geffen Playhouse, Also was a Member of Cates/Doty Productions and founding dean of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. He produced the Academy Awards a record 14 times from 1990-2008 and he also directed Gish on stage and on the small screen in Hobson s Choice. Inscribed by Author(s).
