Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. This copy mistakenly bound in the cloth and dust jacket of John Wieners' 'Nerves' (also published by Cape Goliard), not the only known copy of its kind and so a variant of sorts, but offered as a curio. Head edge spotted and a little rubbed, the jacket spotted to the folds and spine, and with areas of fading.

Very Good indeed, just a little spotted to the edges, the upper wrapper lightly marked. Seller: The Idea of the Book, Portland, OR, U.S.A.
First Edition
First edition. Large 8vo in brown cloth hardcover boards with black foil stamped image on the front, gold foil letters along the spine. 144 pp. Inside brown dust jacket. One of Cape Golliard's most beautiful books featuring delicately typeset poetry by the talented Raworth and illustrations by Joe Brainard, one of which is in color and the rest in black and white. The color illustration features two flattened cigarette packages, one of which is the brand Camel, and the other a Cuban knock-off called Ciervo. Colophon states 'Cigarette packets from use'. Ted Berrigan also provides an insightful and endearing review of Raworth on the back cover of the dust jacket. A highly recommended book for anyone who's a fan of Raworth or Brainard. Light foxing to head of text block and light wear to the bottom of the cloth cover, else fine. Dustjacket with some rubbing and a small closed tear at the top edge on the back, else fine.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. U.S. issue. Small 4to. Pictorial brown cloth. Unpaginated (70pp.). Very Good if a little tired, spotted to the head edge, the spine ends bumped, and with some mild gaping, in somewhat lesser dust jacket (its U.K. price cancelled, the U.S. price added), chipped at the corners.

First Edition
First edition. 8vo, unpag.; cloth. Uncommon clothbound issue, inscribed with a small two-color drawing of the setting sun on the half-title for poet Christopher Middleton and his wife. The cover and text illustrations are by Joe Brainard; the lengthy blurb on the back of the jacket, more of a brief essay, is by Ted Berrigan. Few minor spots to edges, fine in a very slightly used dust jacket.
Printed cloth over boards with printed dust jacket. Beautifully illustrated by Joe Brainard with one image in color and with the short essay "A Few Hard Words on Tom Raworth" by Ted Berrigan printed on the back cover. This copy is nicely inscribed to poet/publisher Ray DiPalma in the year of publication. Book is very fine, jacket shows mild edge wear, near fine.
