Considerable grubbiness and staining to covers with some loss to paper at lower part of rear board Vol.2. Both have greyed to edge and greyed rough cut foredge. No endpapers to each volume. Text blocks of each start from first title page followed by main title page and publishers details/date. Some white tape is reinforcing inside hinge Vol.1 with a few odd foxes to prelims and throughout otherwise good and relatively unmarked. Brown stain through lower half of prelims Vol.2, fading progressively but present through all pages. Fair contemporary set and good reading copy.
