Für Jake ist sofort klar, dass jemand in die Datenbank eingedrungen sein muss und sich die Liste aller Namen und Decknamen kopiert hat. Doch welches Motiv treibt den Mörder an? Erst als sich herausstellt, dass der Mörder selber in der Kartei war und Kontakt zu ihr aufnimmt begreift sie, dass ihn philosophische bzw. ethische Überlegungen zu seinen Taten treiben. Mehr will ich zur Story gar nicht verraten, um nicht die Spannung zu nehmen. Auch für Leute ohne philosophisches Basiswissen ist die Fahndung nach dem Mörder mit dem Decknamen Wittgenstein ein anspruchsvolles Lesevergnügen, bei dem man noch ein wenig über Wittgenstein & Co. erfährt.
