V1 shows a bit of rubbing along the spine edges, and a bit of light soil to the boards. Couple very small stains on the rear board of V9. Couple fairly small stained spots along the fore-edge of the rear board of V7. Just a couple of light smudges on a couple of the other volumes. Else bindings clean. V1, V3 & V10 front hinge cracked. Rear hinge of V2 appears to have been glued to repair. V7 rear hinge starting. Other hinges are strong and intact. There is an American Eagle bookplate on the front pastedown of each volume. Pencilled name, date on the recto of the front flyleaf of V1. Else pages clean. An attractive set.
