Softcovers. Condition: Very Good. Reprint. 1962. Reprint of the third revised edition of 1957. viii, 365pp. plus a 3 page catalogue. This book is an attempt to tudy Mahatma Ghandi's Political Philosophy including his technique of rsisting injustice and abuse of power and of effecting social change.The study is in the context of his philosophy of life. The histyory of the movement of non-violent resistance led by Ghandi and others is outside the scope of this book. The book is bound in the original card wraps with black titling on the spine and front cover and advertisements for other books on the rear cover. The book is in very good condition with some shelf wear on the covers and a small mark on the front cover where an old price label has probably been removed. a small piece is missing from the top edge of the front cover with an adjoining crease and there is a tear on the top edge of the rear cover near the spine corner that has been repaired on the reverse with tape. A tear of about 1/4" and small tears on the rear corners have also been repaired on the reverse. The contents are secure and clean with a light bump to the top corner of the preliminary and first twenty or so pages. There is no inscription.
