This copy is in very good unmarked condition in a price clipped dust wrapper that has a little edge wear to the top but has now been covered in clear, removable mylar protective film. Reginald L. Hine (1883 - 1949) was a county solicitor and self trained Historian who spent his working life and leisure pursuits in the town of Hitchin in Hertfordshire. He was a prolific author of books mainly on the history of the county and the people and buildings of Hitchin. This collection of previously unpublished articles was published posthumously with an authoritative memoir of the author by Richenda Scott who worked with the author as a friend and colleague in his historical researches.
