Book First Edition
Hardcover. Illustrated by Keith Boyer (illustrator). 1st Edition, Stated; First Printing. Book has almost unnoticeabl corner wear. NF. Jacket has some unobtrusive wear at corners. It is close to near fine. VG+. This is a very thorough survey of outsider artist from Alabama. There is information on each artist along with a photograph of the artist and several color phographs of representative work. It appears that any connection with Alabama qualifies an artist for this book since some artists such as Howard Finster and Bill Traylor are generally associated with other states. That quibble aside, this is a wonderful survey of Southern, and Alabama, artists. The Introduction is by Gail Trechsel. This oversized book will require some extra postage. ; Color and B&W Photographs; Oblong Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 224 pages.
