Il fit partie du mouvement moderne et fut un célèbre décorateur de cinéma dans les années 1920 pour Marcel L'Herbier ou Jean Renoir, et directeur de l'école des beaux-arts de Lille. Remarquable "catalogue" de son uvre architecturale. Pas courant Librairie spécialisée en gastronomie , nologie et tabagie.
