From the great-granddaughter of Charles Dickens, this is a psychological suspense story set in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped, original price of $4.50 is printed on the top corner of the front flap. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Chip mark to the bottom edge of the jacket, at the left front, about 1/2" wide and 1/4" tall. Some rubbing wear spots to the jacket on the right side edge. Two short closed tear at the top edge of the back panel of the jacket, each about 1/4" long, small rubbing wear chip at the head of the spine, about 1/4" across. Edges of the text block are clean, no former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. Small vintage original bookstore identification sticker on the inside front cover, circular sticker about 1/2" in diameter. High quality blue cloth covered boards with the author name and title imprinted on the spine, just a dot of minor edge wear to the heel of the spine. Nice vintage cover design by Kiyoaki Komoda.
