Black lettering on spine is bright and fresh. Pretty sharp tips. White endpapers. Textblock clean and supple. Copyright page shows 1922 and no other dates but also states A New Directions Wartime book. Book is scarce in any form prior to the 1960's and possibly this is not the first New Directions but can't be sure. Price intact jacket ($1) is nice with faint dampstain near fore-edge but quite small and reaminder of jacket at least near fine. In mylar. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
