La presente edición ha sido realizada por el profesor Rafael García Pérez, de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, experto conocedor de la lengua y literatura islandesas, quien por primera vez nos ofrece una traducción de la obra al castellano a partir del texto original en antiguo nórdico.
