Generally available today only as reprints -- at $100 to $175 for the set of three -- this matching set of three, 8-X-11-inch volumes in pale blue wrappers appear to have been reproduced from Professor Guerlac's original typescript, with no publisher named, but "Copyright, 1953, by Henry Guerlac." Although Guerlac was at Cornell, this set was used in a Ph.D. History of Science course at Yale University in 1953. Previous owner's name neatly printed to upper right of each front wrap. Original prices in pencil to corners of each title page. Wraps moderately browned to spines. The set of three matching volumes count 885 pp. including notes. Here reduced from $400.
