Designs stamped in dark green on cover and spine. Slight rubbing to edges; spine is a bit cocked; mild soiling. Brown pictorial dust jacket with black lettering on cover and spine. Jacket is wrapped in mylar and is not price clipped. Large chip torn off corner of rear flap; numerous small tears and shelf wear to edges; spine is faded; small pieces of tape on both flaps. Binding is tight. Interior has minor foxing. Library marks include stamps on copyright page and rear endpapers, occasional marginalia in pencil, and sign of a removed sticker on jacket spine. Gift inscription on blank page opposite the half-title page. Text block has a deckle fore-edge and a red top stain. Includes numerous black-and-white photos on plates. This book by Theodore Roosevelt's grandson recounts the trip he took to Africa to retrace the trails of the hunt undertaken by his grandfather and father in 1909 to 1910.
