"Skylark Three" is a science fiction novel by author Edward E. Smith, Ph.D., the second in his Skylark series. Originally serialized through the "Amazing Stories" magazine in 1930, it was first collected in book form in 1948 by Fantasy Press. It is the second book in the Skylark series and is set a year or so after the events in "The Skylark of Space." During that time Marc "Blackie" DuQuesne has used the wealth he was given by the Kondalians of the planet Osnome to buy a controlling interest in World Steel, a large company known for its ruthless attitude, aiming to get what it wants by fair means or foul. Wraps in overall poor, binding in good, interior in very good condition.

First edition, hardcover, has a shallow lean to the binding, bumps to the spine ends, faint sunning to the head and tail, and some small smudges to the edges of the text block. Otherwise, this is a solid, bright, Very Good copy in a unclipped, Good+ dust jacket, which has bumps with short chips to the spine ends and corners, an approx. 1" x 1.25" chip to the lower fore corner of the front, sun fading to the spine, rubbing with smudging to the covers, and a couple of short creased and closed tears to the edges. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.

Story has our main character trying to locate a race of aliens sufficiently advanced to help us fight off the threat of semi-human marauders.
