The text is illustrated on every page by Symeon Shimin. 1/4 tan coloured backstrip. 3/4 illustrated boards with black and white coloured titles to the front panel. Illustrated dustwrapper, same as for underlying boards, with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Told in verse, of an old man's dream of other people like themselves and of the young boy who keep sacred the old man's work and keeps a vigil for the return of the old man. Set in prehistoric times. Softening of the backstrip edges and a little bumping of the top book corners. Foxing to the top book edge and top textblock edge. A little aged tone of the text block edges. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. Rubbing to the dustwrapper panels and edges with sunning of the backstrip. There is a 1.25 " tear to the top right hand corner of the front panel and a 0.25" tear the lower left hand corner of the same panel.
