The April issue is titled "Smoky - A One-Man Horse - The Breaking In." It contains 14 pages of text, one full-page drawing and eight partial drawings, a full cover front cover drawing, plus a nearly full page biographical article in "Behind the Scenes With Scribner's Authors," which includes a rarely seen photograph of Will James. The May issue is titled "Smoky - A One-Man Horse - At Work." It contains 17 pages of text and seven drawings. The June issue is titled "Smoky - A One-Man Horse - On Other Ranges." It contains 15 pages of text and eight drawings. The July issue is titled "Smoky - A One-Man Horse - Gone Bad." It contains 14 pages of text and eight drawings. Smoky has been read by both young and old from its first airing in Scribner's Magazine in April of 1926 right on up to these present days over 93 years later. These copies are scarce and important with all copies in very good condition and housed in a custom slipcase. A choice Will James item.
