Hardcover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. There seem to be countless varieties of some of these old Alger titles. This is a rare cover variety featuring cream boards with color pictorial applique on the front showing the young lad Luke spiffily attired in blue jacket and sailing cap and white trousers with a speedboat zipping along in the background. The boards have broken completely free from the interior book block on this copy, but they are both present at least. Generally poor. 287 pp., all present.
Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Blue cloth over boards. Edges bumped. Corners frayed. Lacking front endpaper. Paper is very age-toned.
