Paper on inner rear hinge cracked, board still tight. Back strip faded and toned, Former owners name on prelim, dated 1909. Overall a very good copy of a book which is increasingly difficult to find in the true first edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Signed by Wiggin on the ffep, inscribed to Charles Hanes, 1911, with a quote from Susanna above, and a letter from Wiggins pasted at top to the front pastedown - on her notepaper from 145 w. 58th St., NY. Condition is GOOD+ ; front hinge is started with the muslin visible but undamaged, a little wiggle to the front board as a result. Cover clean, small ink spot on spine, wear to corners and spine ends. Printing on spine rubbed. Text binding fine and text very clean. Chil. RGR.
