Long and unusual inscription from the author to the recipient which reads along these lines: To Anne Vorkodea (?) at the (?? two words hard to read) the Esplanade Hotel, cigarette in mouth, whisky soda on the table and Anne (the recipient) right beside me, Hallelujah!
