This copy is NEAR FINE; the text is clear, bright, and unmarked; binding is tight but edges show a bit of age. The jacket is also near fine; intact, including excellent color and design, but some fraying on edges, small chip missing top front, small tears top back and top and bottom spine. Price clipped from top inside front flap. Folded into the book is a 12 page pamphlet published by Folkways Records titled "The Story of Jazz for Children" narrated by Langston Hughes with Documentary Recordings. The pamphlet is in excellent condition, clear, bright and unmarked except for slight age spots. .
