The spine shows tanning, fading to the gilt, light wear to the spine ends, cover corners; the inner hinges show cracking, and have been re-glued at some point, with some brown stains present on the front inner hinge; age-related tanning to page margins. This copy belonged to sportswoman & bookseller, Mrs. Grancel (Betty) Fitz, but is not signed by her.
