Book First Edition
Full-Leather. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. A lovely copy of the five books bound together in a leather binding with gilt decorative bordering and detail. We believe that they were originally published separately as paperbacks. Corean is 1932 first edition; Persian is the Revised 1933 edition; Peasant is the 1929 1st edition; as is Turkish; English Glass is the Revised 1929 edition. The leather of the spine is a touch sun faded. The end papers are also decorative and look of their time, maybe a little art deco. No inscriptions and clean pages throughout, albeit the pages do look a little toned. A wonderful and unique copy.
