Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Jet Cosgrave comes back to his home after five years brooding over the loss of his father's ranch to his smooth-talking Uncle Lin. He hires a crew tough enough to match Lin's own gang of killers. Not only does Jet have to fight his own uncle, but there are also the Polsens, the hill people who hate Jet almost as much as Lin. Judy Polsen, has loved Jet ever since childhood but Jet's romantic life is complicated by another woman. Alice Austin, the pretty Easterner who came West to marry Jet's uncle, wavers when she finds out what kind of man he is. Her protection of Jet, after he has fled wounded from Lin's gang, doesn't help the engagement any. Solid binding. Moderate edgewear on the boards. Moderate shelf wear. Please note the image in this listing is a stock photo and may not match the covers of the actual item. Book.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. First printing stated. 8vo in blue/gray cloth, spine title in black. Uneven fading to the cloth, moderate shelf wear. The dustjacket is not price-clipped, rubbing at the spine ends, shallow chip at the top of the front panel. The jacket flaps were affixed to the pastedowns with a sticker that says 'George Landy / Agency' with an address in Beverly Hills. We removed one so we could see the condition of the binding, but thinking that it might have been a talent agency in the movie business, we left intact the sticker on the front pastedown.
