Magazine / Periodical First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. The Waste Land, TS Eliot. The first US publication of arguably the most influential English language poem of the 20th century. November 1922. Light offsetting to the first page of the poem on p473 from the St Severin frontispiece by Robert Delaunay. The same page has an inobtrusive library stamp, the only indication in the periodical that this was a library copy. Wraps in very good condition, with light chipping to the edges and one corner and the spine, with a short tear to the spine. Damp stain to top of rear cover, also visible on the last few pages; pages of the periodical otherwise very clean indeed. For customers outside the UK, please contact me first to calculate postage as I will need to include insurance, many thanks.
