Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Book is a first edition and has the $4.25 price on the left flap of the dust jacket. There is a small red mark, about a centimeter long on the lion's face on the upper right hand side of the front cover. There is also a touch of shelving wear to the edges and corners. Aside from these items this is very good copy that remains well bound with pages bright, crisp and unmarked. The dust jacket has a scuff at the top of the spine along with some smudging to the name "Sendak." The bottom corner of the left flap has been clipped and the copy has yellowed ever so slightly with age. Aside from these items this is a very good copy that remains crisp with the cover image delightful and now protected via mylar.
