Stapled Binding. Condition: Good. Reprint. Undated unattributed reprint of 12 pages from the Western Architect, Volume XXII, Number 2; originally published in 1916; featuring Louis Sullivan's Merchants National Bank in Grinnell, Iowa. Probably published by the bank upon the occasion of an addition, circa 1975, the date written on one of two identical flyers from the bank which are laid in. Stapled pamphlet; tan paper, brown titling & text throughout. Shows some tanning, particularly around the edges; insect damage lacing the lower front corner; light creasing; minor stains on rear cover. Text clean, 12 pages + plans & elevation inside rear cover; b/w photos. Laid in are two identical lightly illustrated two-fold flyers offering a brief history of Sullivan and the bank, one badly tanned on one panel, the other with a pen note reading "Doug Robison, Quad Cities. Architect for 1975 addition". Also laid in is a larger one-fold flyer defending the refurbishing of the Owatonna bank building in 1958.
