Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Three volume set of Marion Montgomery's The Prophetic Poet and the Spirit of the Age Trilogy: Why Flannery O'Connor Stayed Home, Why Poe Drank Liquor, and Why Hawthorne Was Melancholy. All three volumes are first edition, first printings. Text is unmarked in all three books; pages are bright, though the page edges are age toned and foxed. There are also small stains spattered across the top edge of the pages of all three books. These stains generally do not bleed through to the insides of the books - there is one small stain on the top edge of the first few pages of the third volume that does bleed through. Previous owner's plate inside the front cover of each volume. Bindings all lean a little. Dust jackets all show some light wear around the edges. There is a small mouse nibble on one of the creases of the dust jacket of volume one. International/Priority shipping at cost.
