First edition. 304 pp. Duodecimo [19.5 cm]; black cloth covered boards with red ink stamped title and author on front board and spine; there is a small puncture in the front cover over the authors name. The dust jacket is mildly scuffed with various open and closed tears repaired with scotch tape; the spine is lightly sunned with evidence of water damage at the foredge of the back flap. During the Golden Age of Detective Fiction, author Stanley Vestal writes a great murder myster. The Wine Room Murder tells the story of a a man named George Congreve who assumes the role of detective to find a murderer at a wine tasting gone wrong.

The jacket has edgewear and small closed tears, and the spine is just slightly sunned. Inscribed on the front pastedown by the author, as Stanley Campbell. He has written "first edition" below and underlined it. Scarce in dust jacket, and even moreso signed; a tight, clean copy that appears to be unread. Signed by Author.
