There is a beautiful 7"X 9.5" full page color Map of Grand Canyon of Arizona signed on the top of the back page by Irwin E. Cunningham. I could not find one single copy of this particulae edition published by the Santa Fe R.R. who put numerous photos of the outside and inside of El Tovar Hotel, John Hance's Log Cabin, Hopi House Indian Curio Room, Bright Angel Camp, The Rendezvous, Main Dining Grand View Hotel and Annex, Coconino Forest near Point Sublime. Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. SEVEN OF EIGHT BEAUTIFUL LEATHER BOUND VOLUMES BUT IS MISSING VOLUME SEVEN OF "Voyage Dans les Etats-Unis D'Amerique Fait en 1795, 1796, &1797" IT HAS TWO VERY LARGE FOLD OUT MAPS ONE OF THE 13 COLONIES IN THE NORTH EAST AND ANOTHER VERY LARGE FOLDOUT MAP OF TENNESSEE, KENTUCKY, NORTH CAROLINA. THE DATES OF THE MAPS ARE EARLIER, BUT THE PUBLISHED DATE IS 1799. THE TENNESSEE MAP STOPS AT THE CUMBERLAND RIVER IN THE WEST AND THE TENNESSEE RIVER IN THE EAST AND LISTS CLARKSVILLE, NASHVILLE, AND KNOXVILLE, AND MURFREESBORO AND REFERS TO THE ORIGINAL NAME OF THE ALLEGHANY MOUNTAINS. THE MAPS ARE WORTH MORE THAN THE BOOKS IN MY OPINION, ESPECIALLY THE VERY EARLY TENNESSEE MAP WHEN WEST TENNESSEE STILL BELONGED TO THE CHICKASAW INDIANS A/K/A NATIVE AMERICANS AND TENNESSEE HAD ONLY BEEN A STATE SINCE 1796 AND THE SPANISH STILL HAD A FORT IN WHAT IS NOW MEMPHIS TO WIT: "SAN FERNANDO DE LAS BARRANCAS".THE BOOK IS IN FRENCH AND HAS SEVERAL PAGES ABOUT THE CRUELTY OF SLAVERY AND MISTREATMENT OF SLAVES AND ROUTINE USE OF THE DEATH PENALTY FOR SLAVES.THERE ARE ONLY THREE OTHER MENTION OF FIRST EDITIONS OF THIS SET OF BOOKS ON ABEBOOKS AND ONE IS MISSING THE MAPS AND ANOTHER IS 8 VOLUMES IN 4 VOLUMMES.

The 1932 Yearbook has a very early Poem, "A KISS," by Tennessee Williams, I will sell all three yearbooks for $3,800.00 or the 1932 Yearbook with the poem for $3,100,00. There are photos of Thomas Lanier Williams in two different fraternities. There is a Tennessee Williams Historical Marker in the yard of a house in an old midtown neighborhood of Memphis which declares that his very first Play was in a private home. Maybe, that is how he got the nickname of Tennessee Williams because he did not grow up in Tennessee to my knowledge.
