A pornographic novel of the sexual revolution, running the gamut of sexual experiences: heterosexual, gay, and lesbian encounters, bestiality, incest, et al. Abrams was a poet, writing porn with a literary and literate bent: each chapter has an epigraph from Catullus, Yeats, Rimbaud, the Bhagavad-Gita, etc. The book launch for this was held at Ed Sanders' Peace Eye bookstore. First edition; reprinted in 1970, 1971, and 1973. Adapted into a film in 1970; the screenplay was by Josef Bush, aka Angelo D'Arcangelo. "The first (New York) Olympia novel to attract wide attention.an erotic portrait of the hippie generation" wrote Michael Perkins.
