Very good with owner's short 4-line gift inscription on front free endpaper, moderate general wear, a very light line of staining to the top edges prelims and rear endpapers, in the very scarce dust jacket. The jacket is in several pieces, all holding together inside the mylar jacket protector; they are not taped or glued. The front panel has shallow chipping across the top edge and a 1" x 1/8" chip at upper front spine fold. The rear panel has a shallow chip near the top of the rear spine fold and a 1" x 1/8" chip at upper rear spine fold. Both flaps are non chipped or clipped, but there is no price on the dust jacket. The spine has a 1" chip at its head, losing the word "The" in the title. There is 1" tear across the spine about 2" above the bottom of spine and becomes a 2" vertical tear in the lower front spine fold. There is a 3/8" chip at the foot of the spine with no loss of text. A light water-stain shows in a 1 - 2" band around the entire top edge of the jacket. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 187 pp. Seller Inventory # 29429
