Clean first edition, first printing in original unclipped dust jacket. Red and white polka-dot cloth boards with red title box, black lettering on cover and spine. No fraying or wear-through. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages are clean with clean Rockwell Kent illustrated endpapers - no names, writing or bookplates. Frontispiece illustration by Kent with numerous Kent illustrations throughout. 310 pages. Dust jacket is clean, not price clipped; has chipping at top spine edge (up to 3/4"), numerous closed edge tears; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
