12mo. Pp. 282. Green cloth, titles stamped in dark green on the cover and spine, top edge dyed green: bookplate, endpaper adhesive age toned, leaves sparsely foxed. In the two color illustrated dust jacket: edges rubbed, mellowed crease along fore edge, spine ends and back panel chipped. First published by Fiction League in 1932, this Walter Black edition is an early reprint. Murder mystery with "a chain of beautiful young adventuresses and a group of the worst criminals in Gotham" in the jacket blurb. The dust jacket illustration by RH shows an attractive young swell wearing a cape in front of a skyscraper backdrop.Filmed in 1932 with three players from the 1931 Dracula including Bela Lugosi.
