Devoted to the estate properties of, in, and about Beverley Hills, this sumptuous volume covers 31 estates in Beverly Hills, 22 in Holmby Hills, 15 in Bel-Air, and 61 in Beverly Park, most having never before been documented. Lockwood, the author of six books about American architecture and cities, and Hyland, a local historian and a Beverly Hills realtor, have written extensively about the area. This copy is housed in a specially designed black cardboard briefcase with handle, the front a likeness of the front wrapper with large photo and the rear with the name and address of the showroom for Beverly Park.
