Sheet size: 66.1cm x 52.3cm with good, wide margins to the printed image. Date: circa 1830. Printed on Whatman paper with watermark for 1830. Original etching with early or original hand-colouring. Very minor marks to the plate surface. Very minor creasing. In very good indeed condition overall with bright hand-colouring. Prideaux John Selby, known as the English Audubon, was born in 1788 and died in 1867. He produced these magnificent illustrations of British ornithology from specimens in his own collection.
