First Edition, with dust wrapper Telling the story of Alfred Adler, Max Beerbohm, Ivor Novello, Sara Delano Roosevelt, Ezra Pound, Margaret MacDonald Bottome. Clean boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Lightly rubbed at board edges. Head and tail of spine lightly bumped. Binding is tidy and neat. Edges of pages are lightly discoloured and foxed, moreso at the head edge. Front free endpaper bears a scribble along side previous owner's name. Some uniform discoloration of pages, due to age, else this book is in good condition. Dust wrapper is discoloured and thumbed. Some scratches and indents when held up to the light. Spine sunned. Chips and creasing of edges, front and back. Large chip at tail of spine. Rubbed, some creasing and general wear and tear, else in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
