1st edition. 16mo tan pictorial wraps, frontispiece portrait of Pinkham, 30pp. Letter laid in on letterhead from the Lydia E. Pinkham Medicine Company discussing Hubbard's manuscript being sent just before his death on the Lusitania sunk by a German submarine, his career, the Roycrofter shops, etc. Pinkham developed medicines for women's ailments, was a women's rights activist. Pages and covers are fine; spine is cleanly split about half way up from bottom & about an inch at top. Letter is fine with only a thin strip of yellowing at top center edge.
