Minor creasing to edges of unclipped dustwrapper, very slight bumping to corners of blue boards, a previous owner's name and date (1960) in pencil on f/ep and some genealogical notes on a blank page at the back, also in pencil; but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Deals with "Leisler's Rebellion" of 1689-91, when one Jacob Leisler took control of the southern part of New York colony at the time of the deposition of the Catholic James II of England, supposedly to ensure Protestant control of the colony.
