The sequel to Henderson's landmark "Pilgrimage: The Book of the People," this is an uncommon find. Combined with "Pilgrimage", it was made Into a film called "The People" in 1972 starring William Shatner fresh from his Star Trek Captain's chair. This is a Very Good- condition ex-library copy. First edition is stated on the copyright page. It is the first U.S. edition, noted with number 15 on bottom of page 236. The book has a slight forward spine bend and tape residue on the covers; also library stamps and a data scan sticker on the first endpaper. The Emanuel Schongut-designed Very Good- condition dust jacket shows generalized wear and has two small areas that lost color, one assumes an injury incurred when tape was removed. Original $4.50 price is intact on the front flap. Seller Inventory # 040123-2
