This is the trade paperback edition, which was published at the same time as the hard cover. The book was designed without a jacket, but has attractive French flaps. A true UK first edition/first printing, with all the numbers 135798642 present on the copyright page. This is the first novel Sebald wrote, and his third to be translated into English. A very nice copy, not price-clipped, and with no inscriptions. Only a tiny amount of shelf wear prevents it from being absolutely perfect. We protect all our books with a removable plastic cover, and send them with care. Seller Inventory # 000030
