Condition: Fair. 1952. First Edition. 319 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with black lettering to spine. Excess paper to corner of pages 25-32. Contains black and white illustrations throughout. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Gutters are moderately cracked with binding exposed. Binding is slightly loose. Minor dog-eared corners, with a few small nicks and rub marks along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping and scuffing to corners, and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning and heavy foxing to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a pronounced forward lean and slight bow. Notable sunning to front board and spine.
