Monmouthshire antique hand-coloured county map. Railways. MOULE c1840 old. Antique engraved map. Hand colour; Thomas Moule was born in 1784 in Marylebone, London. His highly-regarded series of English county maps, initially published between 1830-32, were also bound within later publications until around 1850. They are the last decorative English county maps to be published. (c1840). 12.0 x 17.0cm, 4.75 x 6.75 inches. Condition: Good. Tight bottom margin, otherwise good margins. There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is plain. Vignettes of Tintern Abbey, Monmouth Town Hall & Chepstow Castle. Seller Inventory # P-6-014214
