Document relating to a loan of $10,000.00 received for distribution rights for the motion picture "Yankee Doodle In Berlin." Imprint of attorneys Jacob Samuels, Oscar Samuels, Attorneys-At-Law San Francisco in the lower left corner. "Yankee Doodle In Berlin" released in 1919 from Mack Sennett Comedies, 5 reels, supervised by Mack Sennett, directed by Richard Jones and starring Bothwell Browne, Ben Turpin, Marie Prevost and Chester Conklin. The story of an American aviator Captain Bob White sent on a dangerous mission to Germany to steal the enemy's plans for an expected drive. Bob disguises himself as a woman in order to entrap the Kaiser. A rare combination of signatures of two film pioneers on this historic document, a rare insight into business arrangements.
