Mass Market Paperback. Condition: Very Good Plus. Second Edition. A Very Good Plus copy of BB8019-V. The impossibly scarce reissue of Offutt's equally rare 1974 First Edition (Beeline OB 1101-R). This humorous romp opens with the following teaser: "That special tingle his stepmother gave him was the goal of Lance's search during his round-the-world pleasure voyage. From hot blooded Italians to the sensual natives of Scandinavia; from sophisticated French mademoiselles to the sultry Spanish maidens; etc., etc. --- and ended his quest with the most exciting surprise of his life." And here are a couple chapter opening lines: "Ever been to your father's wedding?" and "I don't recommend it. Having the bed cave in just as you come, I mean. Particularly a canopied bed.". 252+ pages. CONDITION: a bright, tight, unmarked copy with light shelf-wear, compromised by a faint crease on the front cover and a more noticeable one on the back. The absence of creasing on the spine and the near-pristine condition of the interior suggests that this copy may not have been previously read. This attractive, highly collectible item is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag. NOTE: A higher resolution scan of the covers will gladly be supplied on request. This small item will be securely shipped with a complimentary upgrade to trackable First Class on domestic (US) orders.
