When this book was published, Walt Mason was called "The most widely read writer in the world today," as well as "the Poet Laureate of the American Democracy, & the high priest of horse sense. It was said that he wrote, for thousands of people, in plain, bed-rock vernacular, the very things they have been wanting to say. He wrote for a number of newspapers, including the Detroit Free Press. Apparently he was born a Canadian, had strong ties to Kansas, and was syndicated across the United States. Much on Walt Mason can be learned by googling his name. This is a VERY RARE and handsome piece of Americana.
