Macmillan 1926. 90pp. A signed (initalled) presentation copy to Wilfrid (Gibson), dated Christmas 1926. Brown boards, uncut pages, little foxing. The copy includes a letter from Lascelles Abercrombie (one of the "Dymock poets and also known as the Georgian Laureate) ) to John Freeman dated March 19 (c. 1914) and written from Ryton, Dymock in Glos. It was in Dymock that Rupert Brooke lived, and Wilfrid Gibson was later to meet Rupert Brooke, becoming a close friend and later Brooke's literary executor (with Lascelles Abercrombie and Walter de la Mare). The letter refers to the performance of one of A's early verse drama at the Poetry Bookshop. This particular one was performed there in March 1914.
