Large quarto. (26)ff. One of fifty numbered copies signed by the author-illustrator. A collection of ten poems and ten etchings by Judy Ling Wong, beautifully printed on heavy Fabriano Roma handmade paper. Wong printed the etchings, which are in black, in her own studio; each one is signed, numbered, and dated. The text is printed in dark brown. The title-page bears the author's name in orange Chinese characters, which adds a lively touch of color. The binding is an elegant Japanese wood veneer by Hunter and Foulis, stab-sewn with gray cord. According to the Press, it was their "most unusual and successful" binding. Housed in a matching slipcase, with a paper label on the front cover. A very fine copy of an early book from the Press.
