1979, Signed 1st English Language Edition. Excellent collectible condition. Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was known as a man of war and of peace. The Jerusalem-born Rabin had an outstanding career in Israel's military and politics and became a major world figure in the 30 years he served the State of Israel. As chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces, ambassador to the US and prime minister of Israel, Rabin played a dynamic and intimate role in the development of the Jewish state. His assassination in Israel in November,1995? one year after sharing the Nobel Prize for Peace with Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat-- sent shock waves around the world.
